Seven destinations are proposed (a foretaste of the various destinations is available here):
- Destinations 1 to 6 are outside of Montpellier city and are charged 50 €. Final distance from the heart of Montpellier ranges from 30 to 80 min.
- Destination 7 is inside Montpellier city and is charged 30 €.
All excursion fees include bus transportation, lunch and local product sampling and tasting.

The number of participants will be limited by the number of seats in buses. First registered, first served...

Tours that do not meet sufficient participants may be cancelled. Accordingly, participants are invited to mention a second choice. They will be automatically transferred to their second choice destination if the first one happens to be cancelled.

Extra requests for fun

Bring a plush toy
Since 2010, the French Plushology Society (Société Française de Peluchologie) and the Montpellier 2 Science University (Science & Culture dpt) organize the first worldwide plush inventory. Plushology is a “pedagogical science” aiming at (softly) teaching in a fun way the science of biodiversity enquiries, by exploring a unique ecosystem: everyday plush toys and their environments.

Schoolchildren, students, scientists and families make inventories and classify plush toy diversity. More than 600 specimens has been yet studied, and a first classification has been published recently (for an overview of the project:; only in French but with explicit videos…).

FPS and the ISE decided to collaborate on a new initiative: the
first inter-cultural collection of affective traditional objects mimicking real or imaginary living organisms.

More about the Plushology_initiative.

Plushology: an innovative and interdisciplinary science!

Bring a musical instrument
On Friday 25 May 2012, after the closing ceremony, a performance will be given by
rencontres mémorables, a collective initiative sponsored by the Léo Lagrange Federation, with musicians from Gipsy, Rajhastan, Sioux, Massai and Saramaka communities. Congress participants who practice a musical instrument will be greatly invited to join a memorable jam session.

Refundable cancellation of registration is possible until April 30th, 2012. Beyond this date no refund will be possible.
We will reimburse 80% of the amount paid (20% are not refundable due to administrative costs) and any bank transfer costs will be charged to you and thus deduced from this sum.
To ask for a cancellation and for reimbursement you have to send us an e-mail ( with “cancellation” as subject) explaining the reasons for your cancelation and a reimbursement request. French participants should include RIB. Other EU participants should include the Bank account reference, IBAN and BIC, bank name and address, and participants from other countries should include the bank account reference, bank name and address and Swift.
